When in Stockholm... Fjäderholmarna are a group of small islands in the Stockholm archipelago. Fjäderholmarna consists of four islands, a bit east of the Djurgården island. On a verdant island you find outdoor café, restaurant and a well known smokery. The name Fjäderholmarna comes from the two Swedish words; fjärd which means narrow coastal inlet; and the word holm which is means little islands, i.e. Fjäderholmarna means ”the little islands in the coastal inlet”.
