<p style="text-align: center"><em>Book of Leon is a charity exhibition where all profit will be donated to lion conservation.</em></p> <p style="text-align: center"><em>25 augusti – 6 september at Grundemark Nilsson Gallery in Stockholm.</em></p> <p style="text-align: center"> </p> <p style="text-align: center">Last week I celebrated Nina Siemiatkowski and the opening of her exhibition.</p> <p style="text-align: center">Over the past four years <strong>Nina</strong> has spent five months in the field with one pride of lions on the savannah of the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. Through her camera she has followed a new generation of lions grow up and another one let go. She has taken part of the personalities of the pride, their life stories and challenges, but also their love and relationships. It is a story about life and death and about our own existence as humans. As the situation for Africa’s top predator is urgent, these personalities are some of the world’s last wild lions.</p>
