...about this magical place, contemporary Il Sereno, that I visited this summer by Lake Como. The hotel is located in the picturesque town of Torno on the lake’s southeastern shore. Leading Milan-based designer Patricia Urquiola is behind the hotel’s architecture and contemporary interiors. The building was constructed using natural materials, including stone, wood and copper, and local artisans were called in to make the custom-designed furnishings.
